Congolese company presents solar panels to local areas
Recently, Zhongjiang Hailan Congo Company donated a batch of 580W solar panels to the local drinking water drilling project in Sumuna Village (Soumouna). The donation ceremony was held at the company's headquarters in Brazhai. It is hoped that Mr. Gyldas Mayela, chairman of the Congo Association (AHC), will attend the ceremony.

Sumuna village is located about 30 kilometers south of Brazzaville, the capital of Congo (Brazzaville). There is a lack of water supply facilities. Residents can only rely on rainfall to meet the basic needs of drinking water, washing and personal hygiene in their daily lives. Due to the irregular rainfall in the area, the villagers often have to walk six kilometers to reach the nearest water supply point. They are facing a long-term shortage of drinking water. It is hoped that the Congolese Association will decide to build a drinking water well at the Sumuna village primary school. During the construction process, because Sumuna village is not connected to the Congo (Brazzaville) national power grid, the power supply problem has become a major problem. In order to address the high cost of operating and maintaining generators, Hope Congo issued an appeal to all sectors of society for support for solar equipment.
Zhongjiang Congo Company responded positively to the call of the Association and actively fulfilled its social responsibility. It donated a batch of 580W solar panels to Sumuna Village Primary School to solve the power supply problem of drinking water projects for schools and surrounding residents. These equipment will provide stable power support for the project and ensure the normal operation of the well pump.

The donation of solar panels this time has greatly solved the problem of drinking water difficulties for residents in Sumuna Village. The livelihood construction of the village will be further improved and won praise from the local media. The company will continue to pay attention to and support social welfare projects in Congo (Brazzaville), in order to further deepen the friendly and cooperative relationship between China and Congo, and practice joint construction“Belt and Road”Initiatives contribute.
