Papua New Guinea Company held a special meeting on reporting and scheduling actions for deepening and improving the reform of state-owned enterprises

   On September 26, 2024, PNG held a special meeting on the report and scheduling of the reform and deepening and upgrading of state-owned enterprises. Deng Yajun, deputy general manager of the group, attended the meeting to listen to the implementation of various reform tasks and put forward guidance for the next step.

   At the dispatch meeting, the company's general manager Luo Haozhong reported on the overall completion of the reform task, focusing on the transformation and upgrading of the company's business model, the results and challenges of foreign trade and economic cooperation, the revitalization of fixed assets, the dynamic management of the main business and the company's next internal control system construction plan. The Group's Enterprise Planning and Management Department and International Business Department provide suggestions and guidance on the implementation of the ledger.

   Deng Yajun affirmed the effectiveness of the company's reform and put forward three requirements for the next step: first, improve the political position, thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the third Plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, actively explore the road of diversified industrial development in PNG, and implement the key reform tasks clearly defined by SASAC; second, focus on the requirements of deepening and upgrading the reform of the group company, and uphold the idea of attaching great importance to, comprehensively investigating and consolidating achievements, further improve the mechanism and system and the construction of ledgers to ensure the long-term stability of the reform results and lay the foundation for the long-term development of the enterprise; the third is to adhere to innovation-driven and enhance core competitiveness. The reform in the new era needs to pay more attention to innovation and the introduction of digital intelligence industry.
