Provincial Public Construction Center launches summer cooling and safety education activities

   Hot summer, heat wave rolling. On August 8, the provincial public construction center organized“Cool in summer”Feng Gang, deputy director of the centralized construction management office of the provincial housing and urban rural development department, and Shen Zhigang, deputy secretary of the general Party branch of the provincial public construction center, participated in the activity.

   The condolences team visited the Zhongjing Square Civil Air Defense Project of Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Student Dormitory Project of Nanjing Audit University to learn about the work of each project and the operation guarantee of on-site personnel, and sent them Huoxiang Zhengqi water, cooling oil, mineral water, Iced black tea and other heatstroke prevention and cooling materials, and expressed gratitude to the workers who still stick to the front line under the scorching sun.

   Shen Zhigang pointed out that the project department personnel should pay attention to heatstroke prevention and cooling, work and rest, and strengthen self-protection while doing a good job. The provincial public construction center and all participating units should strictly prevent the occurrence of heat stroke and safety accidents, strictly abide by the regulations on production safety, not only protect the labor rights and interests of workers, but also strive to strengthen the quality of the project.

   Feng Gang requested that the provincial public construction center and all participating units should perform their respective responsibilities, continue to strengthen quality and safety management, implement on-site heatstroke prevention and cooling measures, reasonably arrange working hours, rotate operations, formulate emergency rescue plans for high-temperature heatstroke, and coordinate the summer. Construction and labor security work, and strive to focus on the construction of high-quality projects.

   Subsequently, the provincial public construction center organized the publicity and implementation of safety education on high temperature in summer, safety in flood season and prevention of falling from high places, as well as publicity activities on safety risk management regulations, so as to urge relevant participating units to implement the main responsibilities of various work, establish and improve the working mechanism, strengthen the health care for workers, and ensure the safety and health of on-site personnel through the high temperature season.
