Papua New Guinea Laicheng Port Logistics and Storage Area Development Project was successfully handed over

   Recently, the development project of the logistics and storage area of PNG Laicheng Port undertaken by the Construction Group obtained the project acceptance certificate issued by the owner unit and was successfully handed over to the PNG Port Authority.

   The PNG Laicheng Port Project is a preferential loan project of the Export-Import Bank of China, involving 4.4 kilometers of asphalt concrete roads and street lights, water supply systems, sewage systems, fire fighting systems, and 48 hectares of silt backfilling and hardening treatment. In order to successfully complete the project construction tasks, all the staff of the project department worked hard day and night and coordinated with multiple parties to overcome the unfavorable factors such as tight project schedule, difficult construction conditions, complex geological conditions, frequent natural disasters, and unstable social security, and successfully completed the handover.

   During the implementation of the project, the ambassador of the Chinese Embassy in PNG and PNG government departments visited the site many times and praised it. The site organization and management, construction quality and construction progress of the project have been highly recognized by the owner's unit PNG PORTS and local residents, and have established a good corporate image.
