On the afternoon of February 14, Sun Zhijun, member of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and executive vice president of the China Volunteer Service Federation, led a team to visit CJI. Director Liang Yong, deputy director of the Second Bureau of the Central Civilization Office, and director of the Volunteer Service Promotion Center of the Central Propaganda Department participated in the investigation. Group Chairman Song Qinbo, Deputy General Manager Li Youchun, and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee Sun Guangneng received the delegation.
Song Qinbo welcomed Sun Zhijun and his entourage and thanked the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee for its long-term support and help to the group. He vividly introduced the Group's overall situation and achievements in fulfilling its overseas social responsibilities and carrying out international voluntary services from four aspects: fighting the new crown epidemic with the countries where it is located, building overseas cultural, educational and health infrastructure, helping local cultural and sports development, and implementing livelihood projects. He said that the group will continue to actively fulfill its social responsibilities, do a good job in international voluntary services, use development results to benefit local residents, and at the same time tell Chinese stories, spread Chinese voices, and show the image of Jiangsu state-owned enterprises.
Sun acknowledged the Group's contribution to overseas social responsibility and international volunteering. He said that it is of great significance and glorious mission to do this work well. He hopes that CJI, as a provincial state-owned enterprise with global market layout, will continue to innovate its working methods, continue to do a good job in foreign publicity and international voluntary service, and rely on the advantages of more overseas sites and harmonious relations with the host country, actively promote the construction of international communication capacity, strengthen the world expression of Chinese stories, and expand the influence of Chinese culture.
