   At the beginning of the new year, Vientiality was updated, and the provincial public construction center courageously competed for the first place, running out of scientific and technological innovation to help the high-quality development of government investment projects.

   Recently, the opening meeting of the scientific research project "Research and Application of BIM-based Digital Management Platform for the Whole Life Cycle of Government Investment Projects" approved by the Provincial Housing and Construction Department was held in the Provincial Public Construction Center. The meeting invited a number of industry experts to form a review expert group, and leaders of the Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and other competent departments attended the meeting for guidance.

   The research is led by the provincial public construction center and jointly declared by Nanjing University and China General Service Consulting, Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd. This study focuses on addressing bottlenecks and pain points in the end-to-end management of centralized construction for non-profit projects funded by provincial governments, and will leverage digital technologies to drive the digital transformation of Jiangsu Province’s construction industry. The research group reported the overall objectives, current progress, task division, implementation plan and management safeguard measures of the research, and submitted the preliminary implementation plan of the research.

   The Provincial Public Construction Center will take the opening meeting as an opportunity to improve the innovation mechanism, expand innovation channels, optimize innovation forms, and focus on the transformation of research results and the improvement of management performance in accordance with the new deployment and requirements of CJI for scientific and technological innovation. In terms of award declaration, engineering excellence, construction industry modernization demonstration, intelligent construction, etc., use scientific and technological achievements to help the digital transformation of the group company.
