Huang Rugeng, deputy general manager of the group, called on the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Higher Education and the Minister of State-owned Enterprises of Papua New Guinea

   On January 14, Huang rugeng, deputy general manager and chief compliance officer of the group, and his party arrived in Port Moresby, capital of Papua New Guinea, and met with Jane, secretary general of higher education department of Papua New Guinea and project owner representative of Western Pacific University·Professor Chupa.

   The Secretary-General highly praised CJI for overcoming the impact of the epidemic, always overcoming difficulties, and building a high-quality and efficient project of China's assistance in the construction of Western Pacific University. He expressed his warm congratulations on the successful handover ceremony of some staff houses and student dormitory buildings. He is full of expectations for the first university electronic library in the Pacific region to be completed in June this year, and emphatically expressed his hope that CJI will continue to support the later construction of Western Pacific University and strengthen their strategic cooperation.

   Huang Rugeng thanked the Secretary-General for his praise and said that he would continue to uphold the spirit of ingenuity, concentrate on completing the construction of the West Pacific University project, and continue to deepen cooperation and mutual trust with the PNG Higher Education Department and West Pacific University to jointly plan development.

   On January 15, Huang rugeng met with William, Minister of state-owned enterprises of PNG·Duma, the minister highly affirmed CJI's deep cultivation of the PNG market and its outstanding contribution to the modernization of PNG with its efficient performance and high-quality project results, and eagerly hoped that the company would have more cooperation opportunities with the West Highland Province, which needs infrastructure construction.

   Huang Rugeng thanked the minister for his recognition and support for CJI's development in PNG, expressed his good wish to strengthen cooperation with Western Highland Province and help local construction. At the same time, he sincerely invited the minister to visit the group headquarters in addition to his visit to China with the premier in Beijing in June this year. The Minister expressed his gratitude for the invitation and looked forward to visiting the Group at that time to provide strong support for the long-term cooperation between PNG Highlands Province and CJI.
