Zhongjiang Construction! Ethiopian Prime Minister unveils Grand Palace parking project
Recently, the grand opening ceremony of the Grand Palace parking lot project undertaken by Ethiopia Company, the third company of Zhongjiang Overseas Engineering Company, was held. Ethiopian Prime Minister Abi·Ahmed, Zhao Zhiyuan, Chinese Ambassador to Ethiopia, Yang Yihang, Minister Counsellor of the Economic and Commercial Office, and Demek, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Ethiopia·Mei konen, mayor of Addis Ababa, governors and ministers of various state governments, Li Youchun, deputy general manager of CJI, and relevant personnel of Ethiopia attended.
The Grand Palace parking lot project is close to the Prime Minister's Office in Addis Ababa, the capital, and is an important node in a series of projects around the Prime Minister's Office in Ethiopia. The fourth floor of the project is the parking lot, and the fourth floor above the ground is the commercial comprehensive area, with a total construction area of about 53500 square meters. It is a comprehensive commercial center project integrating parking lot, food center, commercial street and office. The project also includes the construction of a 105-meter-long underground tunnel leading to the Solidarity Park of the Grand Palace.
Addis Ababa Mayor Adanaizi, Ethiopia·In his opening speech, Abbebe fully recognized and thanked the contractor CJI for his great contribution to the project, pointing out that the project has provided an efficient and safe parking station for more than 1000 vehicles, including barrier-free parking spaces, with various facilities, including vehicle elevators. It is also equipped with more than 200 systems supported by surveillance cameras, which can also identify the license plate number and owner of the car, provide modern payment and security services.
Ethiopian Prime Minister Abi·In his speech, Ahmed stressed that the Grand Palace parking lot completed on that day is one of the landmarks of Ethiopia's future. From now on, Addis Ababa has added a Chinese scenery. Ethiopia will step up its efforts to cooperate with Chinese contractors like CJI to cooperate more characteristic projects and leave more such miracles for future generations.
Zhao Zhiyuan, Chinese ambassador to Ethiopia, visited the scene and tweeted on the same day that he was glad to see the completion and opening of the Grand Palace parking lot project undertaken by CJI, which is a new achievement of Sino Egyptian cooperation.
