The Export-Import Bank of China (Sovereign Client Department) sent a letter to CJI Corporation on April 30, 2020, highly praising the group company's "Two Excellence" projects for their active response during the epidemic and demonstrating their responsibility, and also reminded our company to pay attention to epidemic prevention and control of overseas projects and implement epidemic prevention and control work.

In recent years, with the strong support of the Export-Import Bank of China, the group company has undertaken two excellent projects, including the Victoria Falls Airport Project in Zimbabwe, the Harare International Airport Project in Zimbabwe, the Port of Papua New Guinea and the Commercial Center Project in Congo. Each project has been highly praised by the government and people of the country where it is located, and has greatly promoted the political and economic development of the local country. Among them, Zimbabwe's Victoria International Airport with a contract value of US$150 million started construction in April 2013, a new runway was opened to traffic on December 2, 2015 (the day President Xi visited Tianjin), and all projects were completed on November 18, 2016. The project was entered into the "Two Excellent" Project Demonstration List "of Export-Import Bank of China that year. The efficient and high-quality construction organization was also highly praised by the Zimbabwe government. At the completion ceremony, then President Mugabe immediately announced, The Capital Airport reconstruction and expansion project will also continue to be handed over to "CHINA JIANGSU" for construction.

Since the global outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic this year, under the unified leadership of the group company, foreign projects have been deployed and prepared early, which has bought time for the epidemic prevention of foreign projects. So far, no suspected or epidemic infections have occurred in the "Two Excellent" projects under construction. At the same time, we actively cooperate with the work of the Economic and Commercial Office of the Embassy, fulfill humanitarian responsibilities, and actively support the local governments in epidemic prevention and anti-epidemic. The Export-Import Bank of China highly appreciates our company's work.

In response to the serious situation that the epidemic situation abroad has not improved significantly, the Export-Import Bank of China stated in its letter that it will continue to play a good role in policy finance, provide various services under the loan, and work with CJI Company to work together to overcome the difficulties and make positive contributions to serving the construction of the "Belt and Road" and the overall situation of national diplomacy.
