　　From August 13 to 14, Chairman Peng Xiangfeng of CJI Company accompanied Vice Governor Zhang Lei to Nantong and Yangzhou to investigate and guide the renovation of shantytowns (dilapidated houses) in the two places. Vice Governor Zhang Lei and his party listened to reports from Mayor Zhang Guohua and Mayor Zhu Minyang, the main leaders of Nantong and Yangzhou Municipal Governments, on the renovation of shantytowns in the two places, and inspected the resettlement housing construction projects of Zidong Nanyuan and Xueshi Mansion in Nantong City and the progress, quality, financing and safety of the Xihu Jingyuan and Lianyi Nanyuan resettlement housing construction projects in Yangzhou City.
　　Vice Governor Zhang Lei fully affirmed the achievements of the renovation of shantytowns (dilapidated houses) in Nantong and other places, and suggested that the housing and construction departments should promote their work experience in general. For the next step of shantytown reform work, he put forward three work requirements: First, we must fully realize the significance of the country's listing shantytown reform as a key task. This is a major strategy that benefits people's livelihood, adjusts structures, and promotes growth. Strategic measures also have an impact on the implementation of the province's new urbanization construction strategy. All localities must actively promote shantytown renovation work to ensure the completion of shantytown reform tasks. Second, all departments must work together to speed up the progress and advance it in an orderly manner. To give full play to the role of CDB as the main channel for policy funds, Bank of Jiangsu and other financial institutions should provide strong support, actively explore the PPP model for government purchasing services and government projects, expand financing channels, and improve the efficiency of fund use. The third is to do a good job in implementing the specific work of shed reform. The shed reform work is highly policy-oriented and attracts high public attention. It is necessary to standardize operations and take practical and effective measures to prevent and control possible risks such as capital, security, and stability.
