Zhongjiang Botswana Branch has signed new contracts this year reaching US$300 million

　　This year, due to the impact of the financial crisis, the market was sluggish and the competition for projects was fierce. With years of operating performance and good reputation, all employees of Zhongjiang Botswana Branch worked hard to get rid of the trouble of the general environment and opened up a new situation. They have successively signed contracts for projects such as the upgrading of the Gaborone sewage pipe network in the capital of Botswana, the High Court and the Court of Appeal, the UB University Activity Center, the headquarters building of the Geological Survey Department of Lobac, and the construction of Tsholofelo Community. The cumulative number of newly signed contracts reaches US$300 million, and its business volume is far ahead of other local contractors, and continues to occupy half of the Botswana construction industry's market. Among them, the Gaborone sewage pipe network upgrade project has a total cost of approximately US$160 million and started in August this year. It is currently the largest project under construction in Botswana's capital. The High Court and Court of Appeal design and construction projects are approximately US$57 million, the UB University Activity Center is approximately US$44 million, and the Lobac Geological Survey Headquarters Building project is approximately US$14 million. The Gaborone Sewage Treatment Plant project, which started in September 2007, has received unanimous praise and trust from the supervisor and the owner in terms of quality and construction period, and won the Best Concrete Quality Award at the African Fulton Award. This award is the most important award in the construction industry in southern Africa.
