Company awarded US$120 million oil headquarters project in Sudan

On May 8, Zhongjiang Overseas Engineering Company announced another good news that it won the headquarters office building project of Sudan's Greater Nile Petroleum Operations Company (GNPOC) in one fell swoop in fierce international bidding competition. The contract amount is 74.8 million euros, approximately 120 million US dollars, and the total construction period is 20 months. The project has a construction area of 36000m2, with a main building of 17 floors and a basement floor. It is a modern office building integrating steel structure, full curtain wall, intelligent and comprehensive type. Its architectural design is similar to the style of the sailing building of a seven-star hotel in United Arab Emirates. The construction is difficult, the standard is high, and the technology is advanced. The decorative framework on the top of the building and the diamond roof alone integrate a comprehensive construction of multiple majors, multiple disciplines and multiple materials. At present, overseas engineering companies are working hard to carry out various preparations for construction.
