Nanjing Resources Recycling Company Established as Provincial and Municipal SOEs Join Forces

   On September 22, the inauguration of Jiangsu Nanjing Zhongjiang Resources Recycling Co., Ltd. and a conference to deepen cooperation between China Jiangsu International Group and Nanjing Urban Construction Group were held at Zhongjiang Construction Smart Industrial Park. Song Qinbo, Chairman of the Group, Ge Zhengquan, Chairman of Zhongjiang Resources and Environment Company, Gong Chenglin, Chairman of Nanjing Urban Construction Group, and General Manager Yin Xiaofeng jointly unveiled the new company's plaque. Wu Hairong, Deputy Director of the Southern New Town Administrative Committee, and shareholder representatives attended. With registered capital of RMB 500 million, the new company is Zhongjiang Resources and Environment Company's first subsidiary. It marks the transition of the provincial construction waste management platform's “1+13+N”province-wide network from overall planning to municipal implementation, opening a new chapter in collaboration between provincial and municipal state-owned enterprises for green development.

 

   Gong Chenglin said the company was the first concrete implementation of the strategic cooperation framework agreement between the Nanjing municipal government and the provincial state-owned assets regulator. Nanjing Urban Construction Group will contribute its operational scenarios and work with the Group to develop resources recycling businesses rooted in Nanjing, serving Jiangsu and expanding internationally.

   Song Qinbo said the Group would use its global market presence and overseas network and make green and low-carbon transformation a key driver of new quality productive forces. By deepening cooperation and combining technical, market and resource strengths, the partners would strengthen provincial-municipal SOE synergies and help Jiangsu “lead the way and set an example” in advancing Chinese modernization.

   “Recycling Without Boundaries, Building a Green Future”. The new company is a key step toward serving Jiangsu from Nanjing. It will focus on efficient construction waste collection and transport, high-value treatment and large-scale reuse. Drawing on the provincial platform's technology, standards and brand and municipal enterprises' market resources and operating experience, it will develop a replicable “Nanjing model”. The Group and Nanjing Urban Construction Group also signed several cooperation agreements at the event.
