Energy Technology Company Signs CEC Ultra-Modern Office Building Contract

   At the end of August 2026, China Jiangsu International Zambia Limited signed a contract for an ultra-modern office building for Zambia's Copperbelt Energy Corporation PLC (abbreviated as “CEC”), marking a significant step for the Group's Energy Technology Company in overseas smart buildings.

   Located in Kitwe, Copperbelt Province, Zambia, the project has a 24-month construction period. Work includes the main building, an energy-efficient curtain wall system, containerized prefabricated photovoltaic facilities and a building management system (BMS), with the aim of obtaining international EDGE green building certification. The completed building will set a new benchmark for green and smart offices in Zambia.

   As one of Zambia's most important listed energy companies, CEC plays a key role in regional electricity supply and energy development. The contract is another result of the Group's efforts to revitalize traditional businesses with new technologies and ideas and support the transformation of its subsidiaries. It also demonstrates the Group's overall competitiveness and strong reputation in Africa.
