Dormitory Renovation Project at Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications Gains Momentum

On July 22, the Centralized Construction Management Office of the Government Investment Project of the Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development went to the student dormitory repair project (Phase I) of Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications for on-site investigation and held a special symposium to supervise and promote the centralized construction work. Relevant persons in charge of the Provincial Public Construction Center, Nanjing Post Logistics Management Office and each participating unit attended the meeting.

This dormitory renovation project focuses on people's livelihood needs and is implemented in an orderly manner in two stages: the renovation of Nanbei He and Guiyuan dormitory buildings. The first phase of the project currently under construction covers four dormitory buildings in North and South Hebei, which is a key node to ensure the smooth occupancy of students in the new semester. The construction period is urgent and the tasks are heavy. The construction unit will make every effort to anchor the completion goal, send additional construction personnel, scientifically divide the operation areas, optimize the connection of processes, and promote the efficient implementation of various construction contents. The project will strictly implement material entry acceptance and re-inspection, purchase long-term key materials in advance, and eliminate supply delays and delays in construction periods. At the same time, all units will strictly abide by the bottom line of production safety, implement safe and civilized construction, and ensure heatstroke prevention and cooling; strengthen the protection of finished products and strictly control quality.
